Synopsis
Marilyn's mother convinces her not to elope with Bud, who doesn't have a regular job and makes his living as a "promoter." Marilyn's father takes his wife and daughter on a drive, and reminds his wife how poor they were when they were first married, but how they were happy and how eventually things turned out all right for them. Marilyn's mother changes her mind and Marilyn is reunited with Bud.

Synopsis
Brenda turns down multiple marriage proposals because she "only want[s] to go dancing and have fun." When Bob is rejected, he moves out of town. Brenda discovers she misses him and doesn't want to date other men. Brenda plans to apologize to Bob but sees him with another woman and fears she's too late. However, Bob tells her that he tried to love someone else, but Brenda is the only woman for him. They reconcile.

Synopsis
Judy moves to the city and shares an apartment with her older sister Ellen. Ellen's fiancé Marty flirts with Judy but she rejects him. Judy meets Marine Fred and they fall in love, although he's disappointed she allows him to kiss her on the first date. Marty tells Ellen that Judy has been coming on to him, and Ellen gets angry at her sister. Fred breaks up with Judy when he learns of the accusations. However, Fred changes his mind and forces Marty to confess his lies. Fred and Judy get married.
