Synopsis
The Vulture, also known as Adrian Toomes, has been hospitalized but snaps out of his depression when he meets and becomes inspired by Nathan Lubensky, May Parker's boyfriend who is confined to a wheelchair. He resumes his criminal career and hides in May's and Nathan's nursing home. When Peter Parker visits his aunt, he identifies Toomes as the Vulture and changes to Spider-Man in order to stop him.

Synopsis
Felicia Hardy, the cat burglar known as the Black Cat, has faked insanity in order to be placed in a mental institution, which proves easier to escape from than prison. On the prowl again, she starts stealing from the mob. When Spider-Man tracks her down, the Black Cat says that she wants to help him fight crime, and after proving this with her actions, the new crime fighting partners unite in a kiss.

Synopsis
Both Spider-Man and the Black Cat have conflicting emotions about their new status as lovers. Spider-Man wants the Black Cat to go straight, even going so far as to ask Captain Jean DeWolff to get her a pardon. The Black Cat, on the other hand, has a hard time kicking old habits and wants the two of them to use their abilities to become thieves. Spider-Man tries to immobilize the Black Cat with his web, but rather than ending up in prison, she jumps in the river. Believing her dead, Spider-Man is even more sad to receive the news of a full pardon for the Black Cat.
