Synopsis
Shelley falls in love with her neighbor Dennis, although he is implusive and irresponsible, and seems only interested in having fun. Shelley loses her job as a bank teller because of her late nights with Dennis. Eventually, she breaks up with him and gets her job back. Dennis changes his ways, gets a good job as an architect, and Shelley takes him back.

Synopsis
Viola is brutally frank with everyone, including her friends, and can’t understand why they are hurt by her comments. Her friend Susan has a heart condition, and Viola convinces her it would be wrong to get engaged to her boyfriend Jim because she’s “unfit to be any man’s wife!” Susan nearly commits suicide as a result and Viola’s boyfriend Webb breaks up with her because she has "a heart of stone."

Synopsis
Small town resident Lisa wins a cruise to Cuba in a recipe contest. She falls in love with Jeff, a college student working as a steward on the ship, but doesn’t tell him that she won the trip in a contest. Jeff turns lecherous in a Havana nightclub, telling Lisa he knows all about single women who takes cruises. She flies home. Jeff follows her and apologizes; he learned she’s a decent girl who won the trip as a prize and regrets his attempt to seduce her.
