- Synopsis
- Lynn and Betty are lonely because most young men their age have been drafted. They visit the Glenville Social Club and find the male members are “well into their thirties.” Lynn hits it off with Eddie and dates him regularly, although her friends warn her about “older men” who chase “young girls.” Lynn meets Paul, a soldier on leave, and likes him. She breaks up with Eddie after he takes her to a cabin and gets lecherous, then becomes Paul’s girlfriend. Eddie tells Paul that Lynn’s a tease and gets punched for his trouble. Lynn will wait for Paul to return from Korea.

- Synopsis
- Socialite Nina and her friends go slumming and meet steel worker Harry, who is offended at their superior attitude. He kisses Nina and she leaves, but returns the next night, alone. Nina is attracted to Harry but worries the difference in their social status is too great. However, they become engaged, with her father’s blessing. When her ex-boyfriend Rick suggests Harry is marrying Nina for her money, Harry punches him.

- 15-year-old Gloria, depressed at her mother’s recent death, dates wild Jerry to try and forget her troubles. When they’re arrested for one of their escapades, Jerry blames Gloria. Due to her age, Gloria is released in her father’s custody, while Jerry gets a criminal record. Four years later, Gloria falls in love with Bud, but Bud’s secretary is Jerry’s older sister Mae. Mae threatens to tell Bud about Gloria’s past unless she gives him up. Gloria asks Ray for advice.

- Teenage Sue has a crush on Joe but doesn’t know how to get him to respond to her. She talks only about herself and doesn’t flatter him or show an interest in his activities. New girl in town Lorraine explains to Sue that men like to feel important and needed. Sue tries this out on Joe and he not only asks her to the senior prom, he asks her to be “his girl.”
