Synopsis
Marsha pulls crazy stunts to win the approval of her wild gang of peers, to the disgust of steady pharmacist Tom. She goes along on a trip to a mountain cabin, and has to flee the lecherous advances of her escort Chuck. She calls Tom for aid, but they’re stopped by the police on the drive home. Marsha’s a minor and Chuck is nearly arrested. Marsha confesses all to the authorities and her father and vows to cultivate a better group of friends. She also starts dating Tom.

June temporarily breaks her diet but decides to continue, for her own sake. Fred returns and apologises, and says he really cares for her. June gets down to a size 12 and marries Fred.

Sue is crowned queen at her college prom and bandleader Larry asks her on a date. However, as their relationship progresses, Sue feels ignored as Larry gets the lion’s share of attention from his fans. Sue isn’t sure she can be happy living in Larry’s shadow and comes to Ray Mann for advice.

Synopsis
Office worker Doreen has a chip on her shoulder and is quick to take offense. She dates salesman Tad and he’s upset by her penchant for making scenes. When Tad introduces Doreen to his family, she becomes angry at a harmless remark and stalks out. Tad tells her to apologise or their relationship is over. Doreen swallows her pride and, even when Tad baits her, refuses to argue. They reconcile.
