- Synopsis
- The West Coast Avengers pick up Captain America and they take off to rescue Rick Jones who has been captured by the Shi'ar. Oracle uses Rick to find the location of the Psyche-Magnetron but discovers it is guarded by a giant Kree Sentry. The Avengers arrive and the Shi'ar let them battle the Sentry while they take off with a piece of the Magnetron. Cap contacts Quasar who follows the Shi'ar into space.

- Synopsis
- The Imperial Guard arrive on earth and battle the Avengers left behind in order to rescue Warstar, Atlas and Minerva. Through a bit of trickery, they capture Captain Atlas and take him off planet. The Avengers are left with Minerva trying to figure out exactly what just happened. Quasar intercepts the Imperial Guard but most of them escape with Atlas.

- Synopsis
- Tensions are high on the Shi'ar homeworld as the Kree Starforce have been captured, Earth is threatened by the Shi'ar stargate, and the Nega-Bomb is missing. This erupts into battle as the Avengers take on the Imperial Guard. Things only come to a halt when Lilandra's adviser is revealed to be a Skrull. Lilandra elects to send Ultimus back to the Kree to negotiate for peace. Quasar contacts the Avengers and tells them he has located the Nega-Bomb.
