Synopsis
Vivian’s ruthless ambition earns the position of art director of a big New York ad agency. Mailroom clerk Paul, a former Korean War pilot, calls Vivian a “smug little tyrant”; she fires him then rescinds her order after he kisses her. They date but when Vivian gets him a promotion to copywriter, Paul is angry: he’s studying law and resents her attempt to control his life. They break up. Joyce quits her job and decides to return to her small town home, but first visits Paul at his law school graduation. They reconcile and will be married.

Synopsis
Peggy, known as a “tomboy” all her life, is a ski instructor at her family’s lodge. She falls in love with fellow teacher Tom, but he’s more attracted to model Rosemary. Rosemary’s escort, fashion designer Larry, agrees to make Peggy “a real glamour girl” if she’ll teach him to ski so Rosemary won’t think he’s a “sissy.” This succeeds, but Peggy realizes she loves Larry, not Tom.
