- Synopsis
- Wealthy Linda runs out on her wedding when she discovers her fiancé Steve is a gold-digger. She moves to another city and takes a job as a clerk on a construction site under an assumed name. She falls in love with Bob, who is only working construction until he finishes his play. Linda takes Bob’s play to a producer and secretly puts up money to stage it. Bob learns her true identity and breaks up with her, not wanting to be a "kept man." Bob returns to his construction job and Linda tracks him down, saving him from a serious injury. They reconcile.
