- Synopsis
- Stella’s parents pay for her honeymoon with Ralph at Three Star Lodge. He admits he’d been there before in high school with his girlfriend Tina. They’d made plans to come to the lodge for their honeymoon, but she died shortly afterward. Although Ralph protests that he loves Stella now, their stay is ruined. But when Ralph goes hiking and doesn’t return on time, Stella remembers a crush she had in high school on her history teacher, one that she eventually got over. Stella joins the search party and rescues Ralph. The honeymoon is saved.

- Synopsis
- Lucia loves fellow high school student Dick, but she is ashamed of her Italian immigrant parents. When Dick meets them, Tina thinks he must consider them “poor, stupid foreigners” and breaks up with him. Her friends think Tina believes they’re not good enough to meet her family. After she sees how popular her father is with his fellow workers despite being an immigrant, Tina throws a party at her house to apologise to her friends. Dick shows up and they reconcile.

- Synopsis
- Nina rejects George's romantic advances because she's studying to get a nursing job at a bigger hospital. “I have no time for romance. It would interfere with my work!” They fall in love anyway, but when she receives a job offer in California, Nina turns down his marriage proposal. George: “You’re mastered by an obsession that has complete control of your most sacred emotions!” When Pete is injured at the airport, Nina misses her flight to help him, and decides she can contribute even in a small city. Nina and George get married. She gives up nursing “entirely” when she becomes pregnant.
