Betty has to “adjust...to the twist of fate which had befallen” her. She supports her brother Red, who will marry his longtime sweetheart Ruth.

Linda uses her nursing skills to help the injured, including Danny and Raven. Later, she congratulates Danny and Raven on their romance. Linda will marry Dr. Roy.
