Synopsis
Elaine convinces her fiancé Paul to give up his career as a test pilot for a safer job with an airline. When he’s killed in a crash, Elaine blames herself and has a nervous breakdown. Her doctor sends her to recuperate at a fishing village. Elaine falls in love with fishing captain Jeth, but asks him to take a job on shore before they wed. When Jeth goes on a dangerous mission to rescue some fishermen, Elaine realizes she’s been selfish and she apologizes.

Synopsis
At a Paris costume ball, American teacher Laura falls in love with another disguised guest, also an American. They’re separated and since they don’t know each other’s names (or even what they look like out of costume), Laura returns to the USA and her job. She is courted by new teacher Peter but refuses to let herself love him until she attends this year’s ball in Paris. Laura and her mysterious beau are reunited at the ball and she is shocked to discover it’s Peter.

Synopsis

She takes a job in a drugstore to make ends meet. Jim’s associate Mike punches Jim for his treachery. Daisy realizes Mike is the one she loves after all.
