Synopsis
Julie moves to Hollywood to become an actress but is forced to work as a waitress instead. Hoping to get into television, she cultivates the friendship of customer Jimmy, who claims to be a TV executive but turns out to be a lecher. She's rescued by Ned, another customer who she really loves, and who is actually a top producer. Julie fails her audition for a TV show and decides her "career" will be as Ned's wife.

Synopsis
Foreign university student Hari, heir to an Indian throne, asks coed Natalie for a date, but she's engaged to engineering student Tom. Tom is rude to Hari and Natalie breaks up with him, then dates the prince. Tom punches the foreign nobleman and informs Natalie that Hari has several wives already, back home. Tom and Natalie reconcile.

Synopsis
Nola loves fellow circus performer Alfredo, but he doesn't like being upstaged by her high-wire act. She tones it down to please him, but this results in her losing her job. She's hired by a small circus thanks to the intervention of clown Bix Bixby. Bix saves her life when she falls but his back is broken. Bix is revealed to be Frank, an engineer who had loved her from afar and joined the circus to help her. Nola can now forget Alfredo's cruelty and will marry Frank.
