When originally published in 1966, the story had Little Dot as the featured character. Other reprints involved the featured character "Little Lotta" and "Dot & Lotta".

There is a Casper promotional strip (chipmunk reading a comic version) on the bottom of the first page, and a Richie Rich promotional strip on the bottom of the second page with a line of text advertising for the Richie Rich Saturday morning cartoon show airing on ABC at the time.
