Synopsis

A war is brewing between Kang and Immortus, starting with Immortus trying to kill Rick Jones. In order to defeat these two foes, the Supreme Intelligence empowers Rick Jones with the Destiny Force again. Using his power, Rick --with Libra's help--randomly selects 7 Avengers from the past, present and future to his aid.

Synopsis

As the time-tossed Avengers battle Immortus’ army, they are given refuge in Kang’s Chronopolis, a city of time. They escape the overwhelming odds in Kang’s time ship at the last second before Chronopolis is destroyed. The city's energies then coalesce into the Forever Crystal, a powerful time artifact.

Synopsis

As the Time Keepers prepare to wipe out thousands of divergent timelines, the Avengers, Kang, the Supreme Intelligence and Rick Jones attack. Captain Marvel exchanges places with an older Rick Jones and the two Ricks use the Destiny Force to call forth an equally good army of Avengers to the war.

Synopsis

As the war wages around them, Kang fights off the Time-Keepers who are trying to accelerate him into his Immortus incarnation, thereby ensuring their timeline. Rick sacrifices himself to destroy the Time-Keepers’ chrono-cannon. Captain America destroys the Forever Crystal, fearing its power to be too great. The armies of both divergent Avengers also disappear when the crystal is destroyed. Immortus is reborn, and Rick is saved when the Supreme Intelligence bonds him and Captain Marvel again. Finally, all the heroes are returned to their proper place and times. The Supreme Intelligence is also returned to captivity, in possession the reformed Forever Crystal, unbeknownst to everyone else.
