Adapted from Leiber's "The Cloud of Hate." According to Tim Barnes, in the letters column of Alter Ego 106, Walt Simonson said he and Chaykin split the pencilling of pages 6 and 8, the top of the splash page was pencilled by Amendola, and Amendola inked the whole thing. Nick Caputo previously suggested inking assistance by Frank Springer, Vincente Alcazar, Walt Simonson and Steve Mitchell.
Update from Tim Barnes: something has lost in translation. I asked Walt Simonson in May 1984 who did what. He said he and Chaykin split the pencils, one of them did 6 pages, the other did 8 pages (I don't remember if he said who did the 6 and who did the 8) - exception being the top of the splash page, which was pencilled by Amendola, who inked the story. Current wording sounds like Simonson only pencilled two half pages.
