Although this story appears as a "Spike and Bat" story, this is clearly a re-purposed story originally starring Toby's "Quigley and Beals," who generally starred in "Fightin' Leathernecks," and were also reprinted by Charlton in both "Fightin' Marines" and "Fightin' Army."
