Synopsis
As the Avengers try to contact Dr. Strange about the Black Knight, they are rebuffed three times. Using his magic, Dr. Strange determines where the six pieces of the Evil Eye are located, and the Defenders take flight to get them. Fearing Asgard might come to harm due to Dormammu’s plan, Loki then contacts the Avengers and informs them of the Defenders’ goal, leaving out his and Dormammu’s role in the game. The Avengers then split up to stop the Defenders.

Synopsis
On the island of Rurutu, the Silver Surfer searches for the Evil Eye piece in a nearby volcano. He accidentally triggers an eruption as the Avengers quinjet flies by, harming Wanda. The Vision takes the fight to the Surfer, enraged by Wanda’s injuries. The Surfer takes the Eye piece and speeds off to warn Dr. Strange and the other Defenders about the Avengers.

Synopsis
As the Sub-Mariner arrives with his piece of the Eye to Dr. Strange’s home, he brings visitors with him: the Avengers. As they assemble the six pieces of the Eye, it is taken by Asti, a servant of Dormammu. Suddenly the Earth changes, humans begin to turn to monsters, and Dormammu lays claim to Earth. Only the Avengers and the Defenders together can stop him.

Synopsis
It’s all-out war as the combined teams of the Avengers and the Defenders take the battle to Dormammu’s dimension. The threat of Dormammu is felt all over the Earth, as more of humanity is transformed into monsters, with Earth’s other heroes barely holding their own. The Avengers and the Defenders must succeed in defeating Dormammu quickly before the changes on Earth become permanent.
