Originally credited to Paul Cooper, but he did not appear in the Jerry Bails' Who's Who credits before 1945, and he is not found working for any MLJ feature. The artwork is very similar to other stories by Sam Cooper, who, according to Jerry Bails' Who's Who, is the only Cooper working on Black Hood.
