The Seven Soldiers of Victory are offered one billion dollars to recover a fortune in gold that was hidden from murderous Spaniards in the Andes Mountains by the Incan Indians. A man named Burton was the last to know of it's location but left only cryptic clues behind to be discovered after his death.
The two teams head for South America to locate the gold in friendly competition, but soon, each team begins to believe that the other is out to put them out of the way in order to get the gold for themselves.
A clever criminal and his henchmen, through a series of clever maneuvers, plant seeds of doubt in the mine of our heroes and get them to work against one another in their search for the gold.
The Copperhead and his henchman believe that the Seven Soldiers have figured out all of the cryptic clues left behind by Burton, so they elect to destroy immediately the Vigilante and the Shining Knight.
