The story title is taken from the cover. It's very likely that Iger Shop animal expert Richard Case had a hand in many Sheena episodes. The lions here look like his work.
On page 14, the names listed beneath the French hotel desk pigeon holes include 'A. Rub.' Artist Aldo Rubano was at the Iger Shop at this time, and a story by him appears in this issue.
Keith Chandler : A previous indexer suggested that the partially obscured name 'Jacque' might be a 'probable reference to the Lloyd Jacquet Shop', but it seems more likely (given that this is a French hotel and all the other names listed are French) that the Christian name Jacques is meant.
The "villain" Looney Looey is a caricature of S.M. Iger.
The house name 'George Tracy' was used at time for stories by Ruth Roche.
Note the difference in inking on Hawk and Dayton.
