Issues 1 and 2 focus on jungle, action & western serials and have only black and white covers. Issue 1A focuses on Republic Pictures' The Masked Marvel and 2A focuses on Universal Pictures' Action Ace Don Winslow. All four comics contain unique stories.
The title pages states that issue #2 would be released the following week, in keeping with "cliffhanger" serial chapters of the movies.
