- Synopsis
- It's the holiday season, and Archie is working at Uriah Scourge's jewelry store to earn some extra money. Archie's boss bears a striking resemblance to Mr. Scrooge from A Christmas Carol. He won't let Archie have time off, and is a skinflint - even donning an old ratty sweater so he can get a free meal at the local rescue mission. When he returns, he chases carolers away from his store. As Archie and his boss are closing up shop for the night, an un-named man walks into the store, flashes a gun and demands money.

- Synopsis
- Veronica and her dad discuss how Archie always likes Betty's (cheaper) gifts better than Veronica's gift. Veronica is unable to bring herself to buy anything in Betty's price range, and promptly buys a diamond-studded platinum knife ("for spreading caviar") at La Snobbe Shoppe. Veronica then stops by Betty's and convinces her to switch gifts, so she ends up giving Archie the more expensive gift.
