Synopsis
Studio mailroom clerks Starlet and Fritzi get a ride home in a rainstorm from star Gary Brant. They pretend to be visiting Broadway actresses but their bluff is called when they claim to live in the same ritzy apartment building as Brant. The two young women disguise themselves as maids to escape.

Synopsis
Fritzi convinces Starlet they can be "discovered" by producer Glitter while he's dining at the Brown Derby. They offer newsboy Danny and his pals ten dollars to ask them for their autograph while in the restaurant. However, neither young woman has the money to pay and a wild brawl ensues. Glitter makes his discovery of a new star: Danny.

Synopsis
Starlet takes pity on a poor flower seller and invites her to stay in the Studio Club with her and Fritzi. They try to smuggle her into the studio but run afoul of the gate guard. However, the lady is "discovered" by a director and will star in a movie. Starlet and Fritzi are still stuck in the mailroom.
A policeman tells Moronica she has to obey every sign or she'll go to jail. Moronica takes him literally and purchases a huge truckload of consumer goods, because the store signs said so. She is unaware that she has to eventually pay for everything.
