Synopsis
Nurse Ann is engaged to Dr. Ted but he works constantly and they aren’t yet financially able to marry. Ann dates former patient Fred, an advertising man, and breaks up with Ted. Her social life begins to adversely affect her nursing work. She realizes Fred’s world is “selfish, shallow and useless.” When they witness a car accident, Fred wants to leave but Ann stays and gives the victims medical assistance, saving their lives. She reconciles with Ted.

Synopsis
Commercial artist Peggy consults a psychiatrist about a recurring dream she has of a man. He advises her to follow her dream of becoming a fashion designer and she moves to a small town and opens a shop. Peggy falls in love with Peter and decides he’s her “dream man” even though he doesn’t resemble the figure in her dream. However, she learns she was only Peter's “summer romance” and he’s engaged to someone else. Peggy decides to sell her business and start over elsewhere, but one day she opens her door and the man from her dream is standing there.

Synopsis
Vivian is obsessed with celebrities. She’s engaged to Johnny but he balks when she tries to make him “glamorous” like movie star Roger Hall. They break up. Vivian moves to Hollywood and gets a bit part in a Roger Hall movie. She dates Roger and thinks they’ll be married, then discovers he’s bald, has missing teeth, and his muscles are padding in his clothes. He says their dates were for publicity purposes. Vivian returns to real, honest Johnny.
