A wife convinces her clumsy scientist husband to freeze her body thus putting her in suspended animation for 7 years. After she's declared legally dead, he will thaw her out and they can cash in on her insurance. Unfortunatly his clumsiness causes her frozen body to shatter to pieces when he knocks into her. When he thaws her out, he has to piece her body back together making her into a horrid jigsaw-like monstrosity.
A young couple passes though a fun house door into a strange purgatory where they join other lost souls in a years-long search for a doorway back home. Finally finding a door, they pass though to an even worse fate.
