The Monitor's death unleashed the energy required to protect Earths 1 and 2, now merging in a null void. The Anti-Monitor is momentarily confused by this and instead turns his attention to the three remaining positive-matter universes. An adult Alex Luthor comforts Harbinger, explaining her mentor's plan was still working but much remained to be accomplished. The combined Earth's protectors are brought aboard the satellite and given the details of the cosmic forces at work. Synopsis
The heroes begin to wonder what's happening as some heroes are remembered on this Earth, while others aren't on this Earth, and why weren't heroes able to return to their respective worlds after the battle at the dawn of time. Harbinger then explains the multiverse is no more as a result of that battle, as a single universe is now in existence with aspects from each surviving world. The Anti-Monitor later appears to try and finish what he started as he pulls the single Earth into the antimatter universe.

The final battle between the Anti-Monitor and the heroes begins on two fronts: one on Earth, the other in the anti-matter universe. After great loss and suffering on both fronts, Superman of Earth-2 delivers the final blow to the Anti-Monitor and goes into a limbo alongside Superboy-Prime, his wife Lois Lane Kent, and Alex Luthor Jr. The only other person left to ever remember how the multiverse once existed -- besides Pariah, Harbinger, and Lady Quark -- is the Psycho-Pirate.
