Cedric Oddwicke's name plays on the name of British actor Cedric Hardwicke. Hal Yapp satirizes Al Capp, while the Yappland sequence satirizes Walt Disney and the recently-opened Disneyland. Pages 111 and 112 are properly numbered, but their contents are transposed.
