Synopsis
At a social gathering, somewhere in the suburbs of Manila, those in attendance get word that the Japanese have bombed Pearl Harbor. As they try to flee to safety the bombs fall, and elderly Bannister dies. Before passing he tells his young friend Peter that he must find a way out of the city as soon as possible. Peter enlists with American soldiers as they try to make their way to a safer location. En route they run into Maria, who warns them that Japanese soldiers are just up ahead. The Americans scoff at her warning and forge on. Soon gunshots are heard, and the Americans are massacred.

Indexer Notes

Credits "Mick Anglo Ltd." appear twice throughout the illustrated story, once on page 9 and again on the final story page on inside back cover. This credits his studio of artists, which implies that this may or may not be Anglo's actual artwork.
