Synopsis
The belligerent mayor orders Jetman out immediately, saying that he's too old-fashioned for the age of terrorism, and insisting that iron leadership is needed. To that end he has appointed in Jetman's place the half-human, half-robot Major Cindercott, a veteran soldier. Before they even know that Jetman is gone, the officers are hit with draconic new regulations.

Synopsis
Police beat off the attack at the ball park, but thousands of people are possessed by the Hell Ditch Pilgrim. The Rumor explains that only Robyn Slinger can confront and cure the Pilgrim, for her Toybox is Pandora's box, and with it she can give him hope. Cindercott demands that the police rally to protect the mayor, the supreme figure of authority, but the police ignore him so as to protect the citizens at large. Robyn's intervention is successful, although the mayor and Cindercott are destroyed in the chaos. Kemlo becomes the new chief, and the adventure ends as it began, with a picnic.
