- Synopsis
- Black Lightning faces Trident and Dr. Impossible in St. Roch, when he and newly-arrived Hawkgirl make a startling discovery on Trident's back neck. The Red Tornado seeks more answers in his current situation, and is led by the Phantom Stranger to where Green Lantern, Arsenal, and Black Canary are fighting an army of Red Tornados. Meanwhile, the deciding of the League members by Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman in the Batcave is interrupted by Black Lightning's and Hawkgirl's unexpected arrival.

- Synopsis
- The new League's invitations go out, Roy Harper adopts a new costume and the codename of Red Arrow, and Black Lightning gets a tour of the Hall of Justice -- a public place where the JLA can gather including a Trophy Hall-- as well as a new satellite that includes a training room called "the Kitchen". Then, Batman and Black Lightning discover that Trident is actually a hero from the 31st century named Karate Kid.
