Synopsis
Peter and Iron Man visit Reed Richards and have him send them to inspect Number 42, the prison in the Negative Zone where all of the heroes that aren't willing to register are being held. Peter decides he has made a bad mistake in choosing sides in the Civil War and as he is discussing it with his family, Iron Man attacks.

Synopsis
Spider-Man decides he is fighting on the wrong side of the Civil War and crosses Iron Man. The New Thunderbolts are sent to bring him in and he is beaten badly but is rescued by the Punisher. Cap decides to use the Punisher to invade the Baxter building and steal the plans for Number 42 in the Negative Zone where all of the captured heroes are being held. Daredevil is captured and taken to the prison.

Synopsis
Spider-Man concludes his battle with Iron Man and escapes into the sewers. Peter moves Aunt May and Mary Jane into a seedy motel to hide them from the Civil War conflict and then goes on national TV and declares that he made the wrong choice regarding superhuman registration. Iron Man isn't pleased.
