Indexer Notes

Art identification based on Stoner’s signed covers for The Funnies #56 (June, 1941) and Blackstone Master Magician Comics #2 (May, 1946). Similarities include muscular protagonists with big dimples and wide smiles showing teeth. Stoner also tends to draw women with long hair that rolls up at the bottom and having their eyes squint slightly more than the men’s.
