06-25 - New storyline - The Childhood of The Phantom - begins. Arguably the most important story of the entire strip, telling of how the young son of then current Phantom is sent to relatives in America, where he meets the later love of his life - Diana Palmer - as a young girl, and ultimately returns to the deep African jungle to succeed his father at the latter's death and thus perpetuate the legend of the undying Ghost Who Walks.
