Il significato della storia è piuttosto esplicita se paragonato ai futuri racconti metanarrativi di Tiziano Sclavi. Stiamo parlando del contesto del fumetto italiano nei primi anni '90, durante le prime censure del genere horror nelle edicole (esempio, la rivista "Splatter" di Paolo Di Orazio).
