Genre
superhero
Characters
Superman [Clark Kent]; Lois Lane; Burton Hayes; Keith Langwell
Synopsis
Lois and Clark encounter a man cursed with bad luck, owing, he claims, to the talisman he wears round his neck. Lois takes possession and flaunts the bad luck spirits by wearing it. Thanks to Clark and Superman (in both guises) she survives several attempts on her life. Superman then takes the talisman and foils more death attempts. Finally, Clark appears in the newsroom wearing it, claiming that Superman gave it to him as a gift. Clark gives Lois the full credit for the story and, in a rare display of affection, she kisses him on the cheek.
