Synopsis
On the day that Van-L makes the passage to adulthood, riots rage in Kandor over the rights of the clones created and stored for each Kryptonian citizen in case he or she ever needs a replacement limb or organ. At the party celebrating Van-L's passage, Kan-Z confronts and kills his mother Nyra, who has removed one of her clones so that the clone might develop her own personality and become Nyra's own son's bride. This outrage sparks the Kryptonian Clone Wars.

Synopsis
Kryptonian archaeologists uncover a globe which contains the story of the war between Erkol and Xan. After Xan detonated a bomb, hostilities ceased, but all babies conceived on that day in Erkol were born without thumbs but with enlarged heads. Years later, these children, who had been exiled, discovered that they had also been born with telekinesis. When the children learned that war had resumed and that Erkol was threatened by a doomsday weapon, they attempted to return home to stop the device, but Erkol was destroyed. So the children returned to their city, which they named Kryptonopolis.

A Kryptonian newsman discovers that Fel-Kar, a member of the Science Council, knows that Jor-El is conducting illegal experiments in space exploration, but doesn't understand why Fel-Kar has failed to take any action. Only when he sees Fel-Kar trying to escape Krypton's death throes in Jor-El's unfinished full-size rocket, not the model rocket used to send Kal-El to Earth, does the newsman understands Fel-Kar's plan. So the newsman prevents Fel-Kar from getting to Jor-El's model rocket and files a final article no one will ever read exposing the corrupt official.
