- Synopsis
- The Purifiers have infiltrated SHIELD and stolen a powerful mystery item and Cyclops tasks Wolverine with reforming X-Force to take them out. Wolvie is skeptical about dragging Warpath, X-23 and Rahne onto this covert and violent team but his members are all on board and already tracking the Purifiers. Matthew Risman, leader of the Purifiers, connects Bastion's head to Nimrod's body and resurrects the villain. X-Force attacks but Rahne is captured and Risman threatens to shoot her if the team doesn't stand down. X-23 attacks and Risman fires.

- Synopsis
- Risman shoots Rahne in the leg and promises to kill her unless X-Force stands down. X-23 pretends to comply but sets off a bomb that destroys the Purifier's base. The team discovers that Risman has escaped with Rahne. Rahne is confronted by her father, the Reverend Craig, who has joined the Purifiers and forces her into making a confession for her sin of being a mutant. Bastion tells Risman that his current plot is doomed to failure as X-Force is already busy taking down the Purifiers. The Purifiers dive to the bottom of the ocean to retrieve the remains of the Magus.

- Synopsis
- The Purifiers scour the world looking for super powered allies. X-Force rescues Rahne but discovers that Risman has shot her up with a lethal dose of heroin. They race her back to Warren's aerie and try to figure out a way to save her life. Bastion unleashes the Magus and infects his new allies, both living and dead, with the techno organic virus.
