- Synopsis
- Payback recounts her full origin, how after her father Max's death she discovered he'd been bound to a variant symbiote which could exist within electromagnetic radiation. The same symbiote bound itself to Mavis and she tested her powers by picking a fight with Luke Cage. Afterward, Mavis recruited her father's lover Talyn to join her team, but after recalling all of this Payback is caught in an explosion at her apartment.
