Synopsis

Penny resents the loneliness of her time at Graceside Academy for Young Ladies. She remembers the happy times with her father before the divorce, but now her mother just makes a 'duty call' on her once a year. When her mother tells her she wants her to be a bridesmaid in her wedding to Anton, Penny runs away from Graceside. With limited resources, she has to settle for becoming a 'chick' at a nightclub called 'The Nest'. She is later surprised to discover that her mother is the owner of the nightclub.
