Synopsis
Nancy has always attracted boys and that is only magnified with her femme fatale image as the screen's brightest young star. Wanting to get away from the film world, she decides to take a holiday at Tullochs Cray and visit her friend Ann. While Ann is at work running a nursery school, Nancy spends time with Ann's fiancé and discovers he has a knack for screen writing. Eventually, Nancy begins to realize that she is in love with her friend's fiancé.

Synopsis
Lorraine and Morris clicked from the first moment they met. Morris lives on the beach. He has no job and no future, but doesn't need them while the sun shines. When he discovers that Lorraine is having a birthday, he promises to give her a party. Lorraine doesn't know how he can afford it until, while taking a shortcut to the beach, she sees him crawling out of a window with some money.
