- Welcome to Swamp Thing - or, as the case may be, welcome back to Swamp Thing.
- Synopsis
- Editor Stuart Moore compliments previous writer Nancy A. Collins and then introduces new team for the book: Grant Morrison, Mark Millar, Phil Hester and Kim DeMulder. Mark Millar relates how he and his father once found their elderly neighbor lady dead in her flat after a week or so, half-eaten by her favorite dog. This is the kind of feeling he wants to impart to Swamp Thing in the coming year.
Letter column is taken over by introductions of Swamp Thing's new creative team, with essays by Stuart Moore and Mark Millar. Charles Vess is credited with cover art but it is clearly signed by "J. Mueller". Also: DC company credits and next issue blurb by Moore.
