Indexer Notes

Writer revision from "Joe Devlin" (presumably a typo for "John Devlin") to ? by Craig Delich 2013-4-7. The Who's Who does not indicate that John Devlin wrote this strip. Writer credit revised to "Bernard Dibble?" Artist revision from Joe Devlin to Bernard Dibble, who took over as artist (not writer) of the strip in 1943 from John Devlin.

"Konk" is a slang word referring to a hair-style worn by African-American men in this era.
