Lulu tells Alvin the story of the magic beans. In this telling, Lulu's mother cooks the beans, so when they're thrown out they make an ocean of bean soup, rather than growing into a giant beanstalk. Lulu sails on the bean soup ocean and finds the giant, who isn't happy about the turn of events.
