Commander Zero from the Fireball XL5 strip appears, firmly linking the Thunderbirds strip to the other Gerry Anderson strips in TV21, although the earlier Lady Penelope strip which acted as a prequel to Thunderbirds had already made the same connections when it tied in with "the Astran War" storyline in Fireball XL5, which in turn had also crossed over with the Stingray strip.
