Synopsis
Starts by recounting the day the current (14) Phantom's father died and the loss of his belt. Then at the Explorer's Club, Rankali, Calder recounts a tale where his expedition was forced into harbor at Gullique Isle, where these unwelcome visitors were taken before the uncrowned King of the Island, Rama. In his office the Phantom's belt is displayed on the wall, and Rama tells how he took as a trophy when he killed the Phantom. One of the guests at the Club takes the story to the Phantom, who goes and retrieves his father's belt.
