The next part talks about tricking natives with matches, and safety matches, i.e. using science as magic. Ending with showmanship and practice at sleight of hand tricks.

This could be a reprint of the story of the same title in Mandrake the Magician (1966) #9, but the current index of that issue doesn't have enough information to verify it, and neither does Creepy Worlds (1962) #94 which says it reprints the Mandrake story.
I have copies of neither issue.
