Synopsis
60 years ago Sam Powell struck gold. His mine is on the Loriston's property. An invisible bell sounds. Wind blowing the bell on the sand-buried, galleon-shaped house Powell built? A jinx on the Loriston's: father killed last year; since, can't keep help but Bill Hankins. Today it's earthquake, then fire at the ranch, then dynamite in the wood stove. Next day waterhole drained, cattle thirsty, cloudburst, flood; whirlwind uncovers the galleon. Roy and Sue follow the bells' ringing, find the old mine, Sue goes missing. Cave-in kills Bill the saboteur, Sue lives, is rich, loves Harry. Exit Roy.

Synopsis
Johnny helps drive off Cheyenne raiders, kills their leader, Eagle Feather. Johnny warns off two road agents attempting to hold up a stagecoach carrying an Army paymaster with payroll, which stagecoach Johnny was riding guard on. Johnny had served under Quantrell as a guerrilla fighter during the Civil War. He was peace officer in a number of western towns, including Newcastle where he accounted for a couple of cattle rustlers, a hold-up artist named Blizzard, and his gambler friend, "Doc" Cornet. His duel with Cornet, bore witness to Johnny Owens' nerve and speed with a gun.

Synopsis
Shoefly stops short, smells something bad. Grizzly breaks Dennis's rifle, swipes him with his claws. Tommy and White Wind save the rancher, kill the grizzly, carry Dennis home to his wife. Tommy helps with the chores while Dennis heals. Dennis asks Tommy to go partners on the ranch with him and Mary. White Wind gives his assent. Woof.

Du Bois introduced Tommy Frayne & White Wind in Chuckwagon Charley's Tales episode #4, the which appears in Animal Comics #30. Script credit confirmed as per page 6 , Gaylord Du Bois's Account Books Sorted by Title compiled from the original account books by Randall W. Scott (1985). Script identification confirmed by David Porta, December 2013. This was the eighth Chuckwagon Charley episode, and last one earmarked in the Account Books as being written for Animal Comics (which was canceled with issue #30). True to its origin as a feature for Animal Comics, Chuckwagon Charley's Tales remained an animal feature throughout its ten year run in Roy Rogers.
