Synopsis
Store clerk Jackie goes to a dance with Ken, but he gets fresh and she is rescued by truck driver Frank. They date and fall in love. Later, Jackie gets a call that Frank’s been injured and Ken drives her to the hospital, but Frank is not there. It’s a scheme by Ken to ruin Jackie and Frank’s relationship. However, fellow trucker Chuck exposes the plan and Jackie and Frank make up.

Synopsis
Mae works hard and graduates from teacher’s college. She gets a job in a rural school district and will live with superintendent Loughlin and his wife Tessie. Mae discovers Tessie is “a dangerous, jealous maniac.” Mae falls in love with farmer Jessup and they plan to marry. Tessie commits suicide and tries to frame Mae. However, Mae discovers the dead woman’s diary and is cleared of suspicion. She marries Jessup.

Synopsis
After their parents’ death, Sue supports her younger sister Sally. When Sally gets into trouble, Sue sells her house and sends Sally to an expensive boarding school. Sue asks her boyfriend Dan to wait a year until Sally graduates before they marry. However, Sally becomes engaged to Nat, an older man and a swindler. Sue breaks up the romance but Dan and Sally both misunderstand and Sue is tarred by scandal. Nat escapes from jail and tries to get money from Sally; Sue and Dan save her, Nat is arrested, and Sue and Dan reconcile.
