- from Why Christmas Almost Wasn't (NEA syndicate) 1968-12-02 - 1968-12-24
Listed on the contents page as 'A Christmas Story', on the first page of the reprint it's called 'Why Christmas Almost Wasn't'. This strip, in a similar style to Kent's seminal 'King Aroo', appears to have been a specially commissioned strip by the NEA syndicate for newspapers to run in the lead up to Christmas 1968.
