Synopsis
It turns out Tag and Bink were not aboard the destroyed TIE fighters after all (the author makes no apologies for deceiving his audience). Synopsis
Tag & Bink are again recruited by Lando, this time to infiltrate Jabba the Hutt's palace to help liberate Lando's friends, with Tag impersonating some bounty hunter named "Boo-Boo." Finally, they're sent aboard the new Death Star disguised as the Emperor's royal guards and have to sit through the final confrontation between Vader, the Emperor and Luke. Uninformed of the Death Star's looming destruction, they die aboard the station but are (strangely) made more powerful than they could have possibly imagined as Jedi ghosts.

Synopsis
To explain why Tag & Bink became Jedi ghosts, we look back to their secret childhood days as under-performing Jedi padawans and learn they were responsible for deleting a planet from the Jedi database (oops) and worse still, for supplying Anakin with his interminable romantic dialogue. By the time Anakin turns to the dark side, he spares Tag & Bink's lives on the condition they forget they were ever Jedis. They decide to retire to Tatooine: "nothing ever happens there."
